The new 991 GT3 is an amazing super car of its own right, however it is lacking that rumble we have grown to expect from a Porsche Supercar. Although the "exhaust notes" are somewhat reminiscent of GT3's from previous generations, the stock sounds emitting from this 9,000 RPM 3.8L flat-6 power plant were soft and "muddy." This is where we set out to create an exhaust system to change all of that.

new 991 GT3 is an amazing super car of its own right, however it is
lacking that rumble we have grown to expect from a Porsche Supercar.
Although the "exhaust notes" are somewhat reminiscent of GT3's
from previous generations, the stock sounds emitting from this 9,000 RPM
3.8L flat-6 power plant were soft and "muddy." This is where we set
out to create an exhaust system to change all of that.
Our
goals were simple, however the path to get there was tedious.
Re-engineering the the OEM bypass controlled exhaust took careful
design, craftsmanship and perseverance in order to produce something
worthy of this super car. We chose to retain the use of an exhaust
bypass valve controlled system and incorporated German made 70mm
Pierburg bypass valves (OEM is 63.5mm) which are controlled with the
sport exhaust button like the OEM system. By utilizing the exhaust
bypass valves, we can retain the sport exhaust controlled switch
function and preserve a quieter exhaust note during cruising speeds for a
virtually unchanged interior cabin sound when compared to the stock
exhaust. When a more aggressive sport exhaust sound is desired,
pressing the sport exhaust button on the center console opens the larger
70mm exhaust valves and allows the engine to "sing" with melodic
exhaust notes one would expect to hear from a 9,000 RPM flat-6 Porsche
GT3. Increased power, intoxicating sound, and substantial weight
savings equals the perfect combination for ultimate performance without
compromise... PERFORMANCE EVOLVED
